Discover the setting of the high-altitude Medeu skating complex and the mountain scenery around Shymbulak. Cable-car rides can be included when operating. Visiting the area does not automatically include skating, skiing or access inside the sports facilities.
Suggested itinerary
Leave Almaty for the Medeu area, pause for views and continue towards Shymbulak using the agreed transport and cable-car arrangements. Allow time for photos or a refreshment stop, then return to the city. The route and lift stages will be confirmed in your proposal.
Before you go
Cable cars, sports facilities and activities depend on operating schedules, maintenance and weather. Tickets, equipment rental and lessons are included only if listed in your quote. Bring an extra layer and tell us about any walking limitations. No skiing experience is needed for a sightseeing-only visit.
